    Hi folks,

long time Toyota fan, I’ve owned land cruisers the last decade.

my needs have changed and I need a truck bed so I’m looking at a Tacoma. Found this one for sale and it looks like it’s in great shape. Any tips on what to ask for pictures of? (Long distance looking).

Pictures of the frame for sure.
Maybe pictures of the front of the engine, as some years could experience a timing cover leak.
It’s a big job to fix. So that would definitely come in play with price.
    Tires?
    Service records if any?
Leaf spring, to see if it had the TSB springs (4 total)

    What year is it?

It’s an 07. Tires are about half tread. It’s a CA car so frame should be good. Seller provided fill vin check and there was nothing scary there.

    TSB spring?

If records come up on the vin that are recent enough, call the shop the PO was taking it to. Ask them if it was a problem child or what they thought. Did that for my taco.

My guess would be that the owner has an aal for the rear lift. OP, I would inquire more about what size and type lift is on the truck. Hopefully it's install error vs. wrong bumper model but that front ARB bumper gap needs to be adjusted/reduced. What's the mileage/model and asking price?
