What can I replace the bulbs with on these headlights?

Just bought headlights for my SR. It says it comes with h7s. What can I replace the bulbs with?

I've also heard that the DRL's on those headlights are amber for the SR models. Lmk if thats true because that might look cooler than the white leds

If you wanted lighting output and good beam pattern you should have done a little research. The only way youre going to improve that with those shitty headlights is cracking them open and retrofitting them with bi-xenon HID projectors.

 

Why do you feel it's necessary to put down other people? Are your comments really needed? Does it make you feel better about yourself? The guy has a simple question about changing the bulbs. come on now, REALLY.

Who did I put down? Are you that sensitive that you've got to make things up to be offended by because I hurt your feelings by simply stating the facts? He answered his own question (H7). What more is there to say other than pointing out that hes really not going to see much increased output by swapping bulbs which i mean isnt that the whole point?

 

These fit under the covers without any modifications. They're the only fanned LED I found to do so. They're a big improvement over what comes in the housings, but they're still nowhere near OEM. Make sure to adjust your headlights to avoid being a total asshole. The housings have a surprisingly good cutoff, but you need to adjust them so the cutoff doesn't blast people. Interestingly if you use these bulbs for your high beams they're much brighter than OEM high beams.

The DRLs are white on the SR so long as you purchase the right headlight for your truck. The people that have amber DRLs bought the TRD version and spliced the wrong wires.

Yeah OP. These are enclosed, you’ll have to literally take them apart. These aren’t like the oem and do not have the same drop in bulb style application

 

pretty sure these aren't the housings you think they are.

Doubt they'll fit. You'll see -- you don't have a lot of room between the bulb backing and the cover.
