+-Hello all. Rich here from London Ontario Canada. This is a brand new path for me as I have never owned anything but full size GM trucks up until yesterday. I traded my 17 Silverado in for a 19 Tacoma TRD Sport which I pick up Tuesday.
I have always loved the look of them, and it was time for a change. So I pulled the trigger on a new 2019. Going from a full size crew cab short box I figured I better go with a long box in the Taco and this one is pretty sweet. Leather, moon roof, navigation...ect. She's pretty much loaded.
I have already started a list of mods which include LED/HID headlights and fogs...trying to figure how to mount my 26" light bar, front window tint and a bet mat. These things have slippery boxes..lol. Also the factory tires will allow me to get stuck in wet grass so those will get switched out right away.
I will post pics as soon as I can (or figure out how to) and I look forward to learning a bunch about my first Taco!

Awesome. Hope you love it. Eager to hear how it compares to the full size for you after a few months.

Ya I can't wait to pick it up! The only thing that will get complaints is the lack of back seat room...but I don't sit back there so I don't care.

That's my only complaint, but I knew that going in as well. With the car seat back there a couple more inches would make a world of difference.

Welcome to TW from a fellow Canuck. You will notice how these trucks have more of a sports car feel than the full size trucks, great for getting around in the town or city. The sport does ride great on the highway and is very quiet.

Well brought it home last night, I'm impressed. Feels planted and firm on the road but yet at the same time handles well, responsive and not near as bathtubish like my Silverado was.
I was running LT 305/55/20's with 5100 Bilsteins and it firmed it up a bit but talk about body roll.
Today I go shopping for tires and headlights!! I'll take some pics and post whet I get time today..lol
