I changed the air freshener to a new one, one time.
Have a walboro 190 pump for sale from a urd 7th injector kit. I don’t need it anymore as I’m not supercharged anymore and went back
To stock. Asking $50 and will only
Shop if buyer pays shipping. Pump has about 10k miles on it.

does this affect anything if used on all stock truck? would it be an unwise upgrade to a 3.4 w 140k?

This wouldn’t give you any performance benefits unless you were starved for fuel. Stock, you are covered with the oem pump under basically any condition. If you added a supercharger, you may be okay but it’s a gamble as elevation and all that effect you’re afr and tuning. Being in Las Vegas My truck was starved for fuel so the 190 took care of all that. If you’re stock it’s not worth the trouble of installing

There's not really a service interval for them...supposed to be a 'lifetime' part but obviously that's not always the case.

Most people replace them when they just fail, of course that could be pretty inconvenient. A pump that's about to fail is usually really noisy and whining loudly

Hahah definitely inconvenient when they fail! I swapped mine back to my stock pump and it’s been acting funny so I might go with another oem. I’m crazy about little sounds and the whinboro pump drove me crazy..

Ya the Walboros like to whine under normal conditions...I have one from my URD kit installed and it whines loud when it's hot, has done so for 3 years now lol. I'm told it's a normal characteristic of Walboro pumps though.

I talked with gadget and he said it was gear driven or something different from oem so that’s why it whines.. I live in Vegas so it basically whines all effing year haha always hot:(

Only one I've personally seen fail was on a 98 with 350k miles. Would still run perfectly down the road without so much as a sputter, but once it was hot and sitting for 10 minutes it wouldn't kick back on till it cooled down.

Mine can be, but I've talked to others with Walboro pumps that either don't mind it or say they've never heard it.

After a long highway drive or day of offroading in the heat, you can hear it in the cab pretty loud with the windows up. But then I'll go 6 months without hearing it again. It's kind of odd but it's been like that since day 1, had it installed for over 4 years now.
