On my 2016 sport i installed Fortin EVO-ALL and get the Fortin THAR-ONE-TOY6 -Wiring kit, its plug and play , if thats the one for your truck, spend the money it saves HOURS !
its not to bad to do but the instruction suck , read it a few times and look for a youtube vid,
i don't use it a lot but it works, had it in for only 4 months or so.

    edit fixed THAR-ONE-TOY7 to THAR-ONE-TOY6

So the EVO-ALL comes with the THAR-ONE-TOY7 or was that extra? Was it that easy to install?

Had to get them separate / ebay about $75 for the plug , at the time i had a hard time getting the wire set ? sold out maybe? don't know if you can get them as a set.
I also had to get the Flash link updater to flash my truck info on to it,and change anything else i wanted to, but it was cheeper for me as i also was putting one on my wife's car.
it was easier to watch a youtube video and then read the sheet. / a few clips and a few screws and snap off a panel or two and your there.
took longer to set every thing up than to plug it in, plus if i want to add anything i can just re-flash it to suit. just get the right plug for your truck,
    also i used
Fortin THAR-TOY6 Toyota / Lexus T Harness for Select Push Start Vehicles

Hey guys so I have a 2018 dcsb trd sport. I bought it used last year but it was basically new with only a couple thousand miles. Anyway, it came with a remote starter already installed. I have no idea which one is installed but there is separate key fob that came with my truck. I like the OEM smart key and the last thing I wanna do is carry around an extra key fob. Do you think it's likely that the unit I have can be programmed to work with the OEM key fob?

    First Off, Welcome to TW!
There are different brands of remote start systems for our trucks. What may help to answer your question is if you take a picture of the remote start control module or at the very least, the remote you are referring to. It could be a stand alone system with a long range remote or a D-Ball or Fortin with added RF remote capabilities.

So I checked and the system installed in my truck is a “blade-al.” I checked the website and it’s a little confusing. It seems like there is a way to program the oem key fob to operate the remote start, I just don’t understand how to do that.

Hey, just installed my KBVoodoo starter and having an amber light on the starter when trying to program it, instead of a red light.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    *update*

I went to town and got a local remote starter shop to reprogram the DBALL2 and now I only get a solid red light, once the ignition is on. I’d doesn’t go green at all.

    Thanks in advance

Had this exact kit installed. Keeps the engine running even if doors open. I'm also able to start it with doors open which was a nice surprise.
