Looking to change parts on my suspension because its starting to feel rough and bouncy. I want to change the lower/upper ball joint, outter/inner tie rod, and struts on a Toyota Tacoma Prerunner 2004. I want good quality but also dont want to pay the crazy dealership prices any good suspension companys you recommend heard of Moog but alot of people are saying there new stuff is no longer as good as it used to be.

It’s been about 3 years since I last used Moog.
I’ve had very good luck with their stuff. (Mostly diesel trucks)
But, I too have heard their recent stuff isn’t as good.

Some guys here have reported that the MevoTech was fine.
But personally have no experience with them.

I'm a cheap ass. I used Monroe quick struts, Moog upper and lower ball joints and outer tie rods. So far all seems fine. But I'm only putting a thousand miles a year on the truck. And I don't do any extreme off roading.

So not really recommending these parts, just my experience.

Ya im probably gonna do the monroe struts but this is my daily driver and dont want to risk testing out the Moog suspension parts. By the look of it im gonna have to buy them at the dealer im running out of options.

For ball joints, there have been a LOT of threads about balljoints, and there are some very opinionated views. If you want my take, see my build thread for my perspective, and why I chose what I did. Your mileage may vary.

But if you do a search for failed tacoma ball joints, that should convince you not to cheap out on balljoints.

I've had moog BJs (lowers) in the past, but 555's from low range offroad are much better, and if you look around, you can find good prices on OEM (Camelback toyota for example).
