getting an average of 11 miles per gal around town. this don't seem normal to me . I had it checked out and mech shop said everything is in perimeters I don't believe them. they said possible cause my tires are bigger than stock they are 285 70 r 17 and suppose to be 265 65 r 17 I just changed the plugs to NGK and cleaned the K&N air filter and they said my mass air flow sensor was good please help or give recommendations.

there could be something wrong with your truck, but id guess the number one issue is how you drive. baby the gas pedal for a tank and if you still don't see a difference, report back.

There is something wrong with your truck. Start with checking the fuel and o2 sensors, your engine is running too rich

Has the CPU been calibrated for the larger tires? I noticed a mileage decrease myself after my new (larger) tires but I suspect it's due to them rotating less due to the increase in size. Someone correct me if I'm way off base here...
