Nitto grappler 255/80/r17

Sorry if this been posted elsewhere, I’ve searched and haven’t found anything. I want to run the above mentioned tires on my stock 2019 trd off road. I know that people run this size stock with no issues but this particular tire seems to be a little taller than some of the others. Just curious if anyone is running this setup and if they anticipate an issue. Wheels will be method 701 in 17x8.5 w/ zero offset if that helps. Will be doing a 3” lift down the road but was hoping to do this next month. Thanks!

 

I have those tires on my 17. Stock suspension. No issues.

 

Nice! Do you take them off road? If so, how do they do for you? I don’t really know anyone running them

 

I've been off road quite a bit, I live in Colorado. They are quiet on road, very good traction off road. Tall skinny tires work well in my part of the country and I will probably buy these again when they wear out.

 

What offset wheels are you running them on? I’m definitely thinking about buying them

 

To be honest, I have no idea. Discount Tire had a huge discount sale on some discontinued wheels. They have a rep who posts on this site, I contacted him and he hooked my up with the proper spec wheels for my truck. He is tremendously helpful and knows his business better than me, so I trusted his guidance. Sorry!

 

No worries man. I think I should be ok with 0 offset wheels but I’m no expert. Hopefully someone else will know
