Does anyone actually like the chrome rear bumper?

Fellas, just throw a hi-clearance rear bumper on there. Looks and function, problem solved.

 

You have the link for them? I just bought the TRD center caps on Amazon...figuring out wheels currently but yours look sweet and vinyl isn't much $

 

Just ordered the black bed liner ecological covers...I am going for the all black look since getting the pro grill...Still have to tint, meso customs turning mirror, and emblems...but for now

Hi! Love the wheels. How long have you had them done and how are they holding up. Did u get the centre cap inlay through the same guy or is it a proper cap?
I love the look of the black rear bumper caps, I was set on not bothering to get the tech package cause I was gonna go black, but the only way I could get the led headlights was to get the tech package too! Seems crazy to cover over the colour coded bumpers now.... but it’ll prob happen

 

I like the chrome bumps on darker color access cabs.

 

Thanks, I put the vinyl on the wheels around this pass April and there holding up very well the center cap I got on eBay also it’s a round decal I removed the plastic chrome Toyota symbol off and put the decal over that.

My 17 Taliban tan ORDC had chrome bumper covers. Never really like them. I found the perfect solution for me...…...
I bought a AG Pro. Found I really like the tech package that goes with.

 

I don't have a chrome-phobia like many here seems to have, however painted bumpers do look better to me than the chrome.

 

I don't mind the chrome, I actually like it. My first car was an '88 black sr5 p/u with a chrome rear bumper.

 

I sold my 2020 TRD OR chrome tail lights to a guy locally, helped him put them in and to both of our surprise, it looked damn sharp on a black 2018 with the chrome bumper. I didnt think to take a pic, though. Whoops.

 

I'd prefer body colored as I think chrome plastic is silly. I'm not wasting energy to change it though..... If I change it, it's because I'm putting a high clearance bumper on it.

 

It doesn’t bother me. If it did, I suspect that I would just spray it with some PlastiDip. It will likely be replaced with something aftermarket in the next couple of years.

 

Bring back the 90's with a Smittybilt Double Tube Bumper!

 

I like chrome but for some reason it doesnt work on the back bumper. I was picking up all the chrome trim people were getting rid of on this website but keep passing on the chrome rear bumper. I have the chrome TRD grill, Limited foglights and bezels and the Tacoma door emblems. This is a base SR with the painted bumper option.
