I'm hoping someone can post a link of something they've tried already to lessen the glare during the day on my head unit's display. It's an Excelon DDX8905S but the problem I'm having I want to assume is not just with Kenwood units but all modern double din units. Since the display is so shiny/glossy it makes seeing the display during daylight hours very hard, especially when someone is watching a DVD. An older JVC double din I had, the display was more matte in appearance and was still somewhat difficult to see during the day but was manageable.
Is there some sort of "screen protector" or "tint" that people use? Or something else?

    thanks
