I'll check into that module....just having the rear anytime would be helpful.

Your taco has usb connections in the rear?

Was just reading through some Q/A's on Amazon and the Seller replied to someone asking about a Sienna question and stated

"Hi, we’re redesigning this product with a new wiring pinout... It will be available next month. Stay tuned to our social media for updates on the new release.
By Dongar Technologies SELLER on February 4, 2020"

I guess we'll stay tuned. Looking forward to this set up.

I just picked up another Garmin Mini Dash Cam that I'll try to install facing the rear. I should have an update on how it worked this weekend.

I installed another Garmin Mini Dash for the rear. I routed the cable around the door and powered it via USB hub. The Garmin App itself syncs the video with the front camera so you can download a video within video if you'd like.

Finished my dash cam install the other day using this adapter, and a Rexing V1-4K cam. (Starts right up in -30c temps, btw, which is deeecent) The adapter seems of trustworthy quality and runs the cam well. The USB portion of the adapter does not run too hot, especially if the cameras screen is off. I’m happy.2AD0360A-47CA-4BAC-BFD7-458256405C92.jpg
Since the Rexing comes with a spare mount, I thought I’d attempt to modify one to fit the Tacos Gopro mount. Worked perfectly. All you need is a pair of small side cutters, and file. And Ideally some foam on the back for a tight fit. Pics are below, test fitting with spare Gopro mount parts I had. Now I just need to route the mini USB nicer. Those 9” right angle ones on Amazon are an inch too short, lol.

I have a shell, I wonder if I can set up one of the Garmin cams back there. I already have a usb outlet there, but it’s on all the time. Thanks for the pics and videos, that’s an awesome set up!

Nice find on this adapter OP. Looking more into the Garmin mini or 65w, seems like parking mode feature will require a special garmine cable for that parking feature. Think the garmine parking mode cable is $35. what a bummer, really wanted to keep it easy using this adapter.

Although, in this post there is a new version of this adapter coming soon. wonder if it will include a way to do the parking mode option

Just a heads up I believe the parking cable doubles as the power source for the garmin. If that is the case you only need that one cable hardwired in instead of both
