So I just picked up my new TRD Sport here in Houston and boy do these speakers SUCK! Looking to see what people are running in here and wanted to introduce myself at the same time. My names Kevin with LINE-X of South Houston and we have been in business for about 2 years now. Also, as far as MUST HAVE items in the Tacoma what do you guys suggest getting right of the bat. These items could be anything from bulbs to center console organizers. I know there is very many opinions on here but, I am open to all.

As far as music I listen to an array of music from country to jazz. Not a huge bass guy anymore but, I would like a little more "boom". For door speakers I wanna look into maybe some Focals or AudioFrog. But, again please share thoughts and opinions.

I'm in the same boat. Just got a 20 TRD off-road speakers suck. Someone told me the Rockford Fosgate door speaker Replacements good. Don't know for sure looking for more advice.

Should of got that JBL bro. I know you can replace the tweeters with the Kicker Subaru ones (same fit and plug and play) for like $80. I know audiooemplus makes a decent plug and play kit.

Welcome to TW ! I suggest you go to your local audio shop and listen to several brands. I went with kicker 6x9- 3 way’s and Memphis 1 inch tweeters in the front door. In the back door I went with Kicker 6.5 inch coaxial, I also installed a Kicker 300 watt amp. That made a huge difference even with the factory head unit but, I recently switched out the head unit with a Kenwood and now it sounds even better. I did not install any subs because it has plenty of bass without them. The non- jbl speaker’s are absolutely junk, by comparison 1 of the Kicker 6x9’s weighs more than all 6 factory speakers together.
