Ok So I'm definately going to Retrofit my current Spyder housings.
So here is my "master plan".
The Retroquick kits that use the spyder bracket for the Acme Super H1 work on the outside projectors (https://www.lightwerkz.net/index.php/retro-quik-spyder.html).
Well Lightwerkz has a $70 bracket (https://www.lightwerkz.net/index.php/spyder-mini-h1-bracket.html) that makes use of the current highbeam reflector for the Mini H1 7.0s. (https://www.lightwerkz.net/index.php/bi-xenon-morimoto-mini-stage-3-h1.html)
So basically Acme Super H1 on the outside, Morimoto Mini H1 7.0s on the inside.
Both with the Morimoto 35watt ballasts and Morimoto XB 5500k bulbs.

Seem doable or should I just stick with my previous idea of Mini H1 7.0 on the inside(highbeam spot) with the Lightworks bracket and 50watt ballast and 6500k bulbs to go along with these (https://www.lightwerkz.net/index.php/morimoto-high-beam-projector.html) where the current shit projectors are?

Would I need some kind of custom harness for the dual high/low projector setup or would one of the supplied H1/H3 work for it?

    Well I didn't go crazy.
Turns out the wording was just confusing on the Spyder Mini H1 7.0 bracket.
Spyder's bracket and their bracket are for the same spot not either or.
So Lightwerkz bracket will just replace the stock dodo projector and not the inner highbeam reflector spot.
Gonna just leave the highbeam reflector spot empty since ive never attempted this before.
Here is what I ordered :)

Bi-Xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III (H1)
    Optional Upgraded Bulb Holders
    Morimoto MotoHo1ders
    Bixenon Projectors:
Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 (LHD US & CAN)
    Compatible Ballasts/igniters:
    Hylux A0050 (45W)
    H1 HID Bulbs:
    H1: XB 5500K
    Shroud Style:
    No Shrouds Required
Wiring Harness: (match stock bulb size)
    MotoControl Bixenon: H4/9003
    Headlight Sealant
    Gray: RetroRubber

I've seen reviews where the Mini H1 7.0s inner chrome have burnt up after about a year of 50 watt ballasts so I figured I'd tone it down just a notch ( Hylux A0050 (45W)and hope they dont cook themselves.

To clarify, you're going to be replacing the outside Spyder HIDs with Morimoto Mini H1 7.0? and leaving the inside halogens empty? if so, using which bracket?

Yeah, I replaced the stock projectors with The Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 and did Hylux 45wt ballasts with 6500k XB bulbs.
I got 2stroke 2.0 H1s in the reflectors and used a splitter so both will run at the same time.
This is the bracket I used https://www.lightwerkz.net/index.php/spyder-mini-h1-bracket.html
The highbeams on my truck are insane now.
I can see a squirl in a tree from a 100yards away lol.

    My honest opinion and findings?

Doing a retrofit in anything but OE headlight housings is a time wasting venture.

The aftermarkets may look nice and operate well at first, but very soon you will see just how bad they wind up being over time in comparison to their OE counterparts.

I don't find that to be true at all. There are cheap headlights and there are good headlights that are cheaper than OEM. Plain and simple. It's that way for just about any part.

Got a reference set of aftermarkets to back that statement?

I'm not being an ass either. I genuinely want to know.

    Nice!

Do you have a concern with overloading the wiring 55W Mori projector + 23W 2stroke?

You should post pics of projection and also looking at the front of the truck.

I am considering putting Morimota M LED 2.0 projectors (less parts presumably more reliable for 4x4) in the same Spyder housing. Will the same bracket work? ANSWERED by lightwerkz NO

    Any other thoughts?
