Almost all the sets I post here are builds for other people. Posting them to give you all a visual or an idea of what you want yours to look like.

have you used this shroud before? i have it and im going to be setting up demon eyes with it. my biggest concern is the amount of light that will possibly be coming from the back of the shroud, if any.

just kinda looking for some insight on it. ive got a 12v setup coming soon so i can test everything before i set it up and then seal it back up.

    thank you.

Do you have any experience with the Tacoma specific halos they sell? I'm trying to figure out the best way to mount them.

I included both ways I found out. I got mounting wire. I think I have to do it inside the bowl, because it seems to mount easier that way, and won't be just floating around

Sorry I would never use them or build with them, but I would mount them to the frame and not the bowl. If you mount on the bowls you may have issues when adjusting your beam.

They looks to be about the same size as the open part of the frame so I would use tie wire and secure them at the 3 points on the halo.

    I hope it helps.

yeah, like i said, i have the wire to hang them with, im just not a big fan of how far away the halo points are from the frame. its going to be like theyre suspended.

i appreciate your input. this is my first retrofit, so its a bit of a learning process

I fucked around with my broken bezels and came up with that. Just giving you an idea if any of your future builds ask for these dumb halos haha

Any pics of the back side of the lights? What kind of mounting hardware are you using?

You do damn nice work! I’ve done two retros, one on my ‘94 which was easy, the other on my e36 M3 which was more involved. (Cut a hole in the low beam lens on ZKW euro housings and made the projectors protrude through)

I know what’s involved, your pricing is excellent.

David does absolutely fantastic work. His attention to detail and the finish on his projects are as if they came right from Toyota.IMG_20210115_123958088_HDR.jpg

    Wouldn't you like to know!
What's your turn around time? Just wondering if I would need to order a 2nd set of lights for a little while or if you would prefer the new depo's to retrofit vs the OEM housings?
