    I am sure you don`t really need to change the windshield to get intermittent wipers.

    Having intermittent wipers I find even the slowest setting is to fast I never use them .

    Maybe the cycle timing has changed on newer Trucks

    It was not meant to be a wise crack. I thought you were quite serious.

    I have had people think the wiper Motors are attached to the windshield and might need changed

    I've seen the inside of the column were someone silenced the key-in-ignition buzzer in a 3rd gen. I opened up my 2nd gen and pretty much replicated his process.

    While I know that's not the wiper control, things didn't look that different in there to me.
