    Hello there

Recently I’ve noticed that when I turn my key in the (ON) position I can no longer hear the injectors priming properly before start also this is followed by a short low squealing noise in the-front end I think? Based on my observation when the key is the (ON) position I can hear a sloppy uneven injector cycle almost like a really bad telecom signal. If the key is left in the on position for over 15 seconds before start it will flood the cylinders a little bit, I know this because I took top off and I could see a somewhat large volume of fuel sitting on top of the valves. Also there is no (ON) position chime anymore before I start the motor? I’m thinking this is a possible CPS or starting of a silly fuel pump? Two weeks ago I had a misfire in cylinder 5 so I replaced the fuel injectors, timing belt and plugs. Hasn’t thrown any codes but my idle sounds a tiny bit up and down. I had recently replaced TPS sensor. Yes I cleaned air intake manifold, my truck is a mint. If anyone has any idea whether it would be related to the fuel pump or CPS, possibly something else please let me know, Thanks!

The fuel pump only powers up when the engine cranks or the ECM is told the engine is running.

Not that the fuel pump circuit might have been changed because something failed bypassing the safeties.

Alright well in that case, when I set the key too the on position, usually sounds like there’s a four second injector prime taking place or something possibly related to this. Also ignition doesn’t make a chime anymore when the key is in the on position. Hmmmm
