Thinking of adding an ARB bumper to my first gen. What suspension options should I consider to counter the added weight? Not a rock crawler and so don't have a functional need to give the vehicle any lift. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated:)!

5100 with ome 886 coils. If you want to go 2.5" I would recommend 6112 with the upgraded 650 or 700lb 2.5 14" coils. 5100/886 will net you around 2.5" of lift, 6112 may get you closer to 3".

You might not need to do anything. If you find your springs too soft under the extra weight, you will need to find a set of coils with higher spring rate, and close to the same length to compensate while maintaining stock height.

I am not sure what is out there for 1st Gen. like the two previous posts I can give you some specific options for 2nd Gen, but our coils are way too long.

Good luck, and enjoy the bumper!
