Text messages

I have my IPhone Bluetooth connected to the radio, and it works great. I really like that text messages are spoken while I’m driving, really much better and safer than looking at my phone. There are several pages of replies that you can pick from a list to send back, but I never find one that really works.
Is there a way to edit the replies, or add additional ones?

 

I looked at that today if you pull up messages and click on one. You will see a reply screen were you can edit or change the message.

 

I've done that also but the message defaults back to the original settings next time I'm in the truck even on the same text string. Has anyone been able to edit a response and have it not go back to the default? Am I doing something wrong?

 

I'm not sure what Entune version the 2019's have. But in my 2017 with Entune 2 you can definitely edit and save those Quick Replies.

 

This is what I've done but it keeps resetting itself. I'll look into it some more I must not be saving something properly.

 

My truck is a 2017. I edited and save about 10 messages when I first got the truck, and haven't ever tried to change any since then. I guess it may be possible that the procedure has changed with some Entune update, but I wouldn't think so.

 

I have a 2019 and performed that Sunday with no issues. The message I edited stayed on the screen for the next time I get a text.

 

i had edited and use em after with no issue, i did one that says "Driving can't text now" or something like that so i can quick reply right away.

 

What did people do before Cell phones.

they paid attention
