Minor issue but the material on my steering wheel feels like the adhesive is pulling away from the wheel. Anyone else have this issue? Adhesive issue underneath?

Never had that issue on either of my trucks. Warranty it if you are still covered.

If not under warranty, possible fix could be extra thick CA glue in a disposable sharp. Press the needle into the leather at an angle, push out some glue, hold the leather in place till it dries.

It’s under warranty so I’ll see what they say. Honestly not a big deal just was curious if any other members have run into this. It’s right where you rest your thumbs on the wheel.

Ive seen this a couple years ago from a member on here. Think it was covered under warranty. Weird issue though

Ya it is. I searched the forum and could not find any others with this issue. I think it would be a bummer if warranty had to replace the entire steering wheel just for that

Mine does it on the left side only when it's cold. It's not normally where I rest my thumb so it doesn't happen often. I have however become quite fond of the spot. I will press it and wait for it to rise, then it makes a sound like someone ripping off a bandaid. Like soothing music to my ears. Seems to be a common trouble area with the contour of the steering wheel and adhesive. No biggies and I'm not to worried about it. It is not going anywhere.

Wow I just thought it was me, but yes I notice the same thing on both sides of my wheel where you indicated. I personally am not too concerned with it.

I'd look into getting your wheel replaced under warranty. They are usually high dollar when you have to pay for them.

Mine was like that on the right side only. I brought it up to the dealer and they said they'd keep their eye on it. It hasn't changed or gotten worse though. I've largely forgot about it until this post. Not sure if they'd swap out a steering wheel for you to unless it like completely delaminates.

Exactly. Until its peeling, cracking, or delamination is occurring it would be pretty ridiculous to replace the entire wheel. Mine came like described and it hasn't got any better or worse like yours. Well, it actually sticks it hot weather. Isn't steering wheel a "wear" item anyways? Who know if it's been wet etc. Would be an easy denial on dealerships part.

Exactly the same as mine! Lol same when it’s cold. Lol. It’s honestly no big deal and I’m not real concerned but I just wanted to see if others are like mine and guess some are!

My leather is loose on the drivers side of the steering wheel in the exact same spot.

Made a similar post on Facebook and iv had about 20 reply that the material is loose on theirs as well. I’m starting to think this is relatively common
