The painters did not properly clean-up after painting the condos where I live.

I'm not sure if I was the one who ran over the caulking tube, or if a neighbor ran over it. However, somehow someway it got on my truck.

I need advice on how to remove caulking off doors.. need this off my truck asap without damaging my paint.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
If its dry it should peel off especially if you have sealant or wax on your paint. If not try goo gone or WD40. Then wash.

I’d maybe try a plastic razor blade.

Try rubbing it with your finger, it may just peel off.

Hard to damage paint with your finger.

No it's not. Clear coat scratches pretty easy.

With your fingernail, yes. Should have said don’t use your fingernail. Just rub it with your finger.

As somebody mentioned in the instrument cluster thread, it's not necessarily the soft towel (or in this case your finger) that will scratch it will be the small piece of dirt or debris will. Of course it's more like micro mar not full on scratch. At a minimum at least wash/clean the area before touching.

Never messed with caulk on a truck but I would agree with you for something like when you debadge or remove the dealer tags. Rub the bulk of the 3m tape with your fingers then move on to the adhesive remover chemical.

They make bug/tag remover that is safe on paint. You could also try a clay bar followed with a buff/wax.
