My 2nd gen has had frame replaced, fortunately I only had minor issues from the swap. My recommendation is get their treatment, be recorded in the Toyota records, and then annual fluid film (or your choice of similar) and your truck frame will likely last much longer than mine did. In all fairness I’m the 4th owner so I am not Toyota’s target market for new trucks.

Thanks for the reply. In the somewhat near future I'll contact the dealer, go through their process and see what happens. Really like the truck, few simple mods, only 23K miles and have had it since new. Hoping to keep it for at least a few more years.

The guy I spoke in Toyota cares told me to go to the dealer and have the truck inspected even if I did not get the letter. The dealer should be able to know if the truck is affected and do the inspection.
