3 years ago, lower back, don't remember specific numbers, sorry! Feel great now, crawl around under my truck, ride mountain bike, hike, do anything I want. 100% recovery!

I'm afraid to google what that looks like

Yeah the silicone ring is nice, it'll rip off before any injury could happen

Batteries exploded in my pocket. 2nd degree and chemical burns.

    Right after it happened.

Went to surgery 2 days later for debridement and graft.

10 days later got to see my new skin.

Can’t even tell it happened now.

Named my new skin Leroy Jenkins.

Started seeing a chiropractor recently, they did their first appointment x-rays and my chiropractor asked why I didn't mention breaking my sternum in my broken bones profile (The only bone I knew of breaking was a toe) and uh, I guess my sternum broke at some point. Kinda crappy x-ray since they weren't actively looking for it, but upper right corner there. Dude said it looked like it was an intense impact. I have no recollection at all which seemed to disturb him. Totally explains some of my chest pain though. I was told due to another condition I have that my chest pain was probably due to joint swelling where the ribs meet the sternum. Now I've gotta go collecting old medical records, ugh.

Decided to send a mountain bike pedal through my shin, then hit a tree. Not seen is 4 broken ribs and a broken pinky.

9 stitches, a splint, and a shitload of ibuprofen later, I finished 18 miles of bike race two days after. My doctor was not amused.

My son had a laminectomy done at T11. He was only 3.5 years old and that scar is about 3” long or so. Scar looks way better now though and he’s already showing it off to the ladies, lol.

5 months later. Amazing. Only got a tetanus shot. I still have some issues with these fingers, but I am happy with the end result. Body is an amazing thing.

Went into the VA urgent care clinic today to get a tetanus shot since I couldn't remember when I got the last one. Turns out 9 yrs and 4 mo. So, they went ahead and gave me one. The nurse actually asked if I had medical training when I told them how I treated it. Nope, just been treating cuts and wounds for years.
