    Hello TW,
I have a 19 with a tonneau cover and a bedrug installed. As you can imagine, it's dark back there. I'm looking for a way to wire switched lights under the bed rails. Does anyone know if there is hot power at the tow hitch? If so that should make wiring much easier than routing back to the cab. If anyone has an idea, please share!

There’s a factory kit that ties it into the cargo lamp switch

I saw that..apologize...should have been more specific. I'd like to bed mount a switch, as it's much more practical when loading/unloading at night. Thanks..

Look up the wiring for a 7 pin trailer harness. Pin 4 is hot. But I think only when the truck is running.
