New 2020 TRD Off Road Paint

    Hello, recently went back to a Tacoma. When is was messing around with the flaps I noticed the inner wheel wells cease to be painted mid to top along the bed. I guess this is standard. Figure this area would be one to keep sealed slightly better than primer alone. Anyone notice this?

    Loving the truck, glad I opted for the 6 speed MT transmission after many years of auto. Digging the red and TRD off road premium package as well.

    Are you talking about the inside of the metal body panels? If so, yes. There is no color coat on them, but they are primed and protected.

    Welcome the 3rd Gen MT fun. There's a lot of good MT specific stuff.

    Yup standard if you pull your front fender liners out you’ll notice no top coat there either but it is some type of rust protection coat not primer.
