I find it rewarding in the sense that I'm always learning new things, but I have damn near ZERO support in training or getting help internally.

I'm always told to look up to see if there are any training events. Then, when I find them, they complain about how expensive they are.

My buddy bought a book for his moms Bday. It was titled "Over The Hill."

I don't condone this, gotta love your parents no matter how screwed up they are. But that's just me.

    Yeah.
The recycle center here doesn't take glass any more
You're supposed to just put it in the trash.

Used to be, here in PA you could only buy cases of beer from a distributor. (Apart from six pack carry outs from bars.)
A large proportion were old fashioned returnable long neck bottles.
There was a bottle deposit fee that you got back at the distributor, or rolled it over for another case.
I suspect that bars selling long necks of mass market beers like Budweiser, Miller, etc, may still return their bottles to distributors.
But I don't actually know. :notsure:

I used to buy Carling Black Label back when it was cheap, very hoppy and strong (easily 6+%).
They were at one time bigger than Anheuser Busch, but tastes changed.
Carling's went out of style and for a long time light beers ruled. Ugh.
They got bought out by Molson decades ago.
Impossible to get here any more, but supposedly the brand is still sold in Canada.
I bet it doesn't taste the same though.
Today's stronger IPAs remind me a lot of the old Black Label beer.
    Sigh.
