Wow this looks promising. If Just a pull down to ground through the switch... could work the same on the stealth knob

    Care package has arrived.
First time getting a white decal

There is however two small blemishes on the knob.
One right under the TRD that I have trouble taking a picture of and another one on the side of the small square trim below the TRD.

Ya'll are awesome for exploring this far.
I'd shell out for a connector that would move the MTM button to the stage 2. Or even pay for a tutorial. If there's anything I can do to facilitate this...

yes, I have a blem overhead molle rack, luckily all the imperfections were on the side that faces the headliner  there were only like three little spots, my gf couldn’t even tell.

I believe I can tie the black and white wires into the second switch on the shifter. Hopefully I have the splices I need, most of my wire repair stuff is on my boat, which is shrink-wrapped for winter. Always something.

Nice.. only 4 wires. I’d bet the two outside once touched together will trigger the multi camera mode. The 2 middle wires are illumination + and -.

So we could just splice the stealth switch into the black and white wires, possibly?

That’s what it looks like. To do a quick test, unplug the switch and touch a jumper from pin 1 and 4 to confirm.

    CONFIRMED!!!

    (Mr. Paperclip to the rescue)

Jumped the two outer pins (5 & 8) and the front camera view came up:

    IMG_20200220_190923.jpg

    (Please excuse my messy garage)

The OEM switch is a momentary, so just touching the pins brought up the camera. A second jump cycles to the second view, third jump brings it back to the home screen. This is how the OEM switch works. Success! Now I need to round up the wire and splices I need to finish the job. Thanks so much guys!
