Eibach pro lift kit

Steel skids throughout, steel sliders, Would love to add bumper+winch in the future. @Ryan at Eibach You think second notch will be okay to maintain the 2 or so inch lift?

It's not hard to swap shocks and coil overs.

 

I dunno, everytime I see all this I'm like, wouldn't you have to dismantle the wheels, axles, and stuff? Wouldn't you need a lift and a lot of tools or something? What if you mess something up?

I think the average person on here must be some kinna a mechanic into off-roading.

 

I think having a desire to want to DIY definitely helps with these kinds of installs, but with lots of resources out there, these DIYs aren't that bad. Swapping out the coils is a matter of taking off the wheels and a removing a few bolts here and there. It's really not THAT hard to do

Ordered the front lift, for the rear lift can anyone chime in.

Currently trying to decide between eibach's 1" lift block or wheelers 1.5 aal.

Truck will be used 90% on pavement

Any help would be appreciated

I have Wheeler's single 1.5" aal and I love it. Still has some rake and drives great.

 

Think it depends if you want the truck level or keep the rake, I went with the wheelers and left the overload in and ended up with the same rake as factory

 

I’ve got wheelers 1.5. Zero complaints. Great price. Gave exactly 1.5” of lift with the overload left out

 

Do you plan on putting on front bumper, armor... having weight in the bed? If so, I'd go wheelers 1.5.

If not, I think Eibach 1" block would be perfect for the set up

 

No I won't have much weight In the back, and front bumper is staying stock.

I ended up ordering a 1" readylift block... the shipping for the add a leaf was more then the part itself.

Also trying to decide what ring to set the front shocks at.... I'm going lowest or middle.

And running a 285 70 17 tire

 

This pic makes me think I will keep my overload leaf in. Also gives me hope I will still think my 265/70 Wildpeaks won’t look too small post lift. Awesome looking truck overall, well done!

How does the rear feel with the overload left in? Harsh at all? I have a Wheelers progressive 3 leaf AAL in the garage so curious how it will feel compared to stock. I just don’t want the ass end bouncing all over the place and hope it will ride smooth.

 

I would think trying to clear a 285/70/17 tire, you'd need to be up on the middle clip.

 

Yeah I was thinking the same. Middle clip it is. With the 2.5" (middle clip setting) and the 1" block will I be level front to back or.... reverse rake?

Kit should be here next week as well as kyb mounts. Cant wait to get everything on... cant stand driving a stock vehicle

About 30,000 miles on this OME 887/5100's and Wheelers 1.5 aal. Love it!

 

I ordered eibach’s 1” lift blocks and had a very bad experience. I ended up asking for a refund
