I personally didn't want another knob for volume, hense the whole reason keeping the OEM HU. I turned down on the TUN the gains to 1V from 2V played with the eg to my taste. Fade on HU a little more to the rears so the tweeters aren't screaming in my ears. And then slowly adjust the Amp gain somewhere between no distortion and no hiss.

But the drc 200 It's a personal thing I guess. With all the hype how great this thing Fix is, ya would think they would of answered this need for the control knob. Well I guess the presets are kind cool, but the need for another volume knob seems silly. I can set a eq, v1 v2 gain out, but not the volume, it's locked at 100% through the software. It falls short on technology I think, just like the previous version Fix 82 where you lost fade control on your HU. Seems like they rushed these to market to compete in the market share, before they where complete.

Funny thing is that this reminds me of the Sony Walkman when it came out. First out came vol and tone, next year base and treble, the next year 3 band eq. We fall for the gotta have it every time lol.

After calibration did any if you notice that one of your speakers have a bit less mids bass and treble? My front left speaker has Iess midbass and treble or just less volume compared to the right speaker. I had to use the equalizer to match the output of the right speaker.

Had to do the same thing. Noticed after the calibration was successful, it showed a difference in left and right volume adjustments in the front. So the same scenario happened to me. Corrected it also the same as you. Like I was saying, there should be volume adjustments on the TUN that can be saved to the Fix to avoid hiss and any differences in channel volumes.

I saved and named the file, it seemed to save all the settings if I remembered. But did have issues saving the volume settings, therefore you need to adjust the 2v to 1v to start. You'll notice the volume decreases. Hope this helps. Al
