Has anyone experienced the stock non-JBL stereo acting up in their 2014 ?

Lately in the cold weather the stereo has been intermittently operating at lower than normal volumes and sounding very flat and muddy but after a while it works as normal. Secondly the backup cam is just black when this happens. Out of nowhere the first time there was a second of feedback static and everything started working normally again I didn’t start having this issue until a few weeks ago. It just happened to me for the 3rd time. After about 20 minutes of driving the first two times that static happened and everything, volume and camera were back to normal but now I’ve been driving for an hour and it hasn’t sorted itself out yet.

the first time it happened I thought maybe a connection was loose and it popped back it but now it’s been happening more frequently. For example, if I put the stereo volume to max it sounds how it normally would at 25 but extremely flat and muddy. This happens on all sources as well not just one. Even the beep when I use the touchscreen is nearly in audible.

You can see here in the photo I’m in reverse and the screen is just black.

EDIT: I checked that the reverse lights DO come on in reverse so I’m thinking it might be a loose connection or a loose fuse but I don’t know where to start or how to get in behind the HVAC and radio.
