If you're wanting to do a lift, I'd just hold out until you can actually do the lift.

You "can" lift it 2.5" with the 5100s and your stock coil springs, but that tends to increase the spring preload to the point that the ride suffers. Best to go for entirely new springs, front and rear that are designed for that amount of lift.

Another option is to just go for the full OME "kit". Iirc, it's around $1200, but it's pretty much everything you need. All new shocks, front and rear springs. Only thing(s) I'd add to it are a diff drop kit.

The OME nitro charger shocks are pretty comparable to the 5100s, quality wise, perhaps a little better, just not adjustable. It's a very popular kit around here, I suggest searching around as there are tons of people who've posted about it. There's a whole thread dedicated to it, lol...

Thanks for all the input everyone... Ordered 5100's yesterday. I think they are the best fit for my needs. Thanks again!

Silver xtra-cab,old man emu 3 inch lift, 2016 wheels, arb front bumper, receiver hitch, Automatic transmission cooler, tundra front calipers, new frame.
I added a "soft" leaf in the rear, meaning a longer leaf and it makes a big difference empty it rides a lot higher
