So what do you guys think of the product so far... I like the idea of electric trucks but I just don’t think they will last and compete with all the other gas models out there...I am just not into the futuristic look (IMO) although it looks better than the cyber truck that’s for sure...

Its neat, but the company name reminds me of the movie production company "The Asylum", and how they put out knock off movies of popular movies... like Atlantic Rim, or Tomb Invader.

But, looking at their site, they seem to have a few things they've been working on.

I reach out to ceo and was told 60-90k. 60k would be 300 mile battery only, near 90k with hydrogen battery pack, will get an additional 300 miles with that option. Cost for hydrogen is $4 a kg at our stations so 37.5 miles per kg. Around that number. It's great for long trips or when you need additional juice to pull. Don't need it all the time.

    found that kinda high.

Doesn't look too bad, besides those side mirrors - WHY?!?! Horsepower seems well too. How much will this thing run - any price ranges thrown out there yet?

Actually Nikola has been around for a while. They are very popular with the electric/hydrogen semi trucks and utv’s. Just now making trucks. Apparently have some big backers on this project.

wow! If that is accurate that is steep! Understandable but I would not throw that money down especially for a version one model.

I believe heavy duty towing will forever be a diesel job.

well I doubt you are going to buy a semi so you will have to wait till they release the badger. So will be similar to tesla and rivian. Order online.

I think it looks pretty sweet. It looks like it should be roaming around on another planet. I am a bit of a syfy fan though so I'm probably bias. That being said, it's going to be tough to market. People love what they know and a brand that's unrecognizable and 1st gen will be tough to sale. It's going to have to be reliable right off the bat. It's not like when Tesla rolled onto the scene with an electric sports car nobody had seen before. Musk has been able to market in a Steve Jobs kind of way that has drawn a hefty fan base. Not to mention the play on Nikola Tesla's name has obviously been done already...so it seems a little gimmicky. Like I'm getting a Dr. Thunder instead of Dr. Pepper.

Either way it's exciting to see the next revolutionary stage in automotives. Like it or not, companies are spending billions to commit to electric so it's not going away anytime soon. We're on the forefront of the technology and the strides that have been made to date I think only lay out the vision for progress to come.

    Just my opinion anyway.[IMG]
