It will take some time but one day you will find one that just makes you smile and happy. Could be the old one in a new pet body. I still haven’t got another Siberian but once we get settled in again that’s what I’m getting.

 

It’s all we good. We understand and can sympathize with ya. Those who can’t well f em.

 

Don’t be silly. I think most of us can relate. When I lost my dog about a year and a half ago, I called in to work for two days. It’s hard losing a pet. They are like family

 

My Cat was 21 years old when he passed I told my Wife I was out of the Cat business

Yeah, we'll see. It's funny, my boyfriend was not a cat guy but kitty sure won him over.. he may even miss having a cat at some point. We will see but I dunno if I can anymore lol. Can't wait for you to get another husky though

I have 3 days to grieve but I'll have to pick up her ashes too in the next few days so that could really make it drag out a bit longer. But yes, shit sucks! I still haven't moved her stuff. Not ready yet...

Its never easy. I waited 4 yrs after I put my last dog down, I had her for around 20 years when I had to say good bye. I'm not sure I ever got used to not having her around. Now I have 2 and know its going to kill me when they pass. I am already preparing because I'm expecting when 1 goes the other will be right behind and they are only 2 and 3 years old right now. I'm hoping I get 12+ good years with my current pups and will either get another dog almost immediately or wait a year or 2 depending on how I feel. Take the time you need even if it means no more. Animals become family and are a lot more than just pets or animals.

Though I would post a pic of my truck since it was in the shop last.

 

I lost three dogs within a year’s time, I was upset with the first one and started to anticipate the other two. The hardest one was Tank, we rescued him walking down the side of the highway. He should have died about four times but saw a ripe old age of 14.


Death is an unfortunate part of life and we have to hold on to the good memories.

 

She was a little Chihuahua Terrier I rescued when I was 13 or 14 . Knowing she was nearing the end for 3 or 4 years didnt help any. She had been with me for over 1/2 my life at that point! During the last 3-4 years I had to switch her to a raw diet so she would eat and give her an IV daily to keep enough water in her system. Doing those 2 things on my vets recommendation kept her a happy peppy dog for the remaining years. I cant even find any pics of her now. Making sure I have plenty of pics of my new pups.

 

Off and on, just gonna try to talk less lol

Yeah that's crazy how long she lived. Kitty was with me at least since 2001 most likely I'm not even positive and I'm 41 now. Just not right without her.

 

Guess we all have our sad furbaby stories.. just hate bringing back hurt in everyone. It's just all that's on my mind still. Woke up in tears this morning hoping it was a bad dream.

 

Soon got to get it ready for 35's
