    Hey hive mind!

I just picked up a steel Summit bumper from @RelentlessFabrication and they had one with the dual light pod cut outs on hand so I went with that (yay ordering expensive things while you're delirious after night shift). Anyways, I'm looking for some input on light options now. My initial plan was to do 1 set of DD SS3 Pro SAE/Fogs in amber and a 20" amber bar but now that I have space for 4 pods I don't know what exactly I should be putting in and where... I know it's all preference and purpose specific but any and all input would be greatly appreciated! Also curious as to how people have their bumper lights wired. All one circuit? All on all off? Rig it's going on is at the bottom.

    Thanks!

    Nick in VT

    Still thinking about it.
Nice truck. Do it however you want.

    Couple things.
Any aux lighting need to be on relays however you wire it in.
Having separately wired white and amber lights would be nice for lighting in clear conditions or fog.
Use tamper resistant hardware on all lights.
Use/make tamper resistant hardware for the bumper itself. Yes, people will steal your entire bumper.

The thought of someone steeling the bumper is nauseating so thank you haha.

Would you recommend something like a spot or flood instead of SAE fog for the white lights, or 2nd set of amber lights depending what I do?

I would first look up your state laws about auxillary lighting.
I cant speak to the type of lighting as my personal experience is limited to a 40" combo roof bar and dual color combo bumper bar.

Vermont seems pretty lenient as long as aftermarket stuff that isn't marked DOT isn't used on the road. I have local guys to do my inspections as well so I'm covered there. I was thinking of maybe doing a spot 40" bar on the roof paired with white floods in front that would be solely for off-road use. And then run my amber SAE/Fogs with the bumper 20" bar.
