Jeep Gladiator sales struggling

Maybe not much of a Tacoma challenger after all.

Between the price and its dimensions, I just dont get how it is a mid size truck competitor. I got a chance to drive one about a month ago. It was only for a few miles, but it definitely felt large and like it handled more like a full size, probably from how long it is.
There is obviously a market for them, but like I said it is big for a midsize, end expensive imo.

I would love a 2 door gladiator, but they don't exist and I think the 4 door is just too long.

 

Even if it was cheap and smaller, I wouldn’t touch anything fiat. No way.

 

Not here in the northeast, everyone and their mother has a new JL with 37's, Ult. dana 60's and $5k in light bars.

 

Whether sales are struggling or not, I love my JTR. So far it's my favorite vehicle I've owned in 10+ years. Flame suit on.

 

I see alot of highly modified Gladiators here in the High Desert of Socal with a minimum of 38" tires and suspension lift and these are no where near Mall Crawler status and have trail trash to prove it

 

The damn price and the back seat. I like them, but the back seat is really the dealbreaker for me. No flame from me because they look badass lifted!

 

Not damn worth the $$,$$$ for a fiat.
