Mine was just a 600, but I was also like 150 lbs when I was riding. Plenty of get up and go for me. That thing was a blast. The day before I sold it I had to take one last ride on one of the more popular roads around here for bikes. I miss going fast...

Almost pulled the trigger on one this past fall. Talked myself out of it...

I’ve noticed that strongman events consist of strange and funny clothing so I’m trying to get with it and have more fun like them lol. Food socks seemed to make perfect sense!

I was still having rib pain so on Friday I told my PT about it and he’s like “maybe you have an impinged rib”. So he basically did a full upper body adjustment and mobilized each one of my ribs.

    DEAR GOD the DOMS

I miss it so much. Ready to get back to the gym again.

Anyone keeping up with the deadlift world record stuff? It’s badass that Thor is going after (and should) beat eddies record of 500kg but going for 501kg seems disrespectful/petty (wrong word?) in a way? Eddie smashed the previous record by like 20kg. Going for just 1 kg more isn’t super impressive IMO. What’s y’alls take on it and will Thor really do it?

I think he's got 501kg if he doesn't get injured beforehand. But yeah 501 is kind of petty but I can't say much because I will probably never be close to that level lol

I will bet that if he does pull 501kg Eddie will make a big stink about it, then probably try to do a come back to take the record again and die along the way lol

He just posted recently that he’s gonna do it on a normal bar just to shut everyone up but still. Super impressive but just seems like he’s doing it to be petty.

I personally don’t think Thor can do it. I’m not saying he isn’t strong, but he does everything off an elephant bar. That first 4 inches that he isn’t used to will destroy him.

Like I said, idk cause I'll never lift that much and will likely never use an elephant bar lol

Idk. I think Thor as a person is stronger than even he knows. I just don’t think he pushes himself as hard as the others do. I think he can do it as Eddie is strong but he got lucky in his WSM event that it was all mostly static lifts that he was good at. I just wish someone would smash the record. Like 10-30kg more. Not just 1.

If every time a record was broke by 10-30kg, we would be seeing way more then a 500kg deadlift. Any record is generally just chipped away slightly until a genetic freak like Eddie or Julius Maddox comes along

Julius is insane. But he’s smart. He breaks a PR with ease and gives himself time to recover fully rather than just going up again that same day. The people who design the bench he uses are probably sweating bullets lmao like what bench was ever designed to handle 800lbs on it
