SOLD HPS Reinforced Silicone Post MAF Air Intake Hose Kit

Have a used in great condition HPS Intake Kit: Part number is HPS 57-1600 Black
Simple bolt on, not too loud, but much louder than stock.
Asking $140 shipped us only 48 states

 

Have to ask, did you have to trim the length at all, or somewhat force the airbox lid back into position after the initial install? I just installed these (love it by the way, highly recommend for shits and giggles) but was having a hard time getting the lid to seat correctly without some force. I was initially debating on doing some small trimming on the length as it just seemed a bit too long, but after a lot of fidgeting and a little pressure just got it sealed as it. Any similar experience on your end?

To all who read, I recommend this product even if only to clean up the engine bay a bit and lose the gigantic box from the intake tube. Also, this gives a nice change in tone to the engine, especially when getting on the hwy and you hit that sweet spot in RPMs and you can just hear the engine just open up.

 

I only trimmed the stop notches on the factory air tube.
