So i was installing a radio in my truck today and now my low beams don’t work. Could i have maybe unplugged the harness by mistake when pulling on the dash? or could it be a fuse?

Yes it could be a lot of things.

    Each side is fused separately...

    Power goes like this:

Battery >> Headlight Relay >> Dim Relay >> Which then supplies the 12VDC to the White Low Beam Wires or the Red with Black Stripe High Beam Wires... the fuses >> Bulbs >> Ground Return.

** The relays are energized by the Body ECU switching the ground for the relay coils.

Have you checked the bulbs? Maybe you had one out for a couple weeks and didnt notice until the other one popped.. worth checking before you spend too much time going back into the dash

i’m going to check the bulbs. i know they were both working yesterday since i have a photo. I’m also just going to replace the fuses anyways. hopefully it’s not the harness inside the truck

Is their a harness inside the cab and if so where is it located? i’ll check that if both don’t work tomorrow

There shouldn't be anything near the stereo that would effect the headlights. The harness for the headlights and body enter the cab on the left side (drivers side).

I was swapping out the sr5 ac trim for base a/c trim so i had to tug on the dash a bit. idk i’m just think since they worked fine yesterday
