That's a tough call then. Some would argue that a job is about making money and happiness at that job is optional. If that's the case with your promotion just make sure that you seek out ways to be happy outside of your career. That's what works for me .

Why screw up a good thing..

 

Thanks for the input! I've got a few months to think about it.

 

I was luckier than most. I loved my job. Right up until my last day. Believe me, l know how fortunate l was.
But life is too short to be miserable 8 to 10 hours a day!! I think going through that day after day has a detrimental affect on one's overall life.

 

Sometimes you can’t get out

 

I know...that's the sad part. l always feel bad for good people stuck in a crappy situation.

 

My favorite jobs in the past have paid me shit. And better paying jobs sucked and were stressful (ahem...union pacific). Now I have the best of both worlds and trying not to screw it up.

 

Life can be cruel that way. You gotta have money to live your life. But if you have a shitty job, It can suck the life right out of you !

Here's to hoping that if you're all not happy in your job. At least your happy in life

 

You will probably live longer being happy and stress free...

Yeah my friend polished all the aluminum he could while everything was apart. And the block is new. So she's a clean one for sure
