Actually, they do hand-thread them on. At least that was the case at my local DT. The manager brought me out to the stall and showed me how they check for thread count. He placed his thumb and index finger on opposing sides of the lug nut and counted half turns. It totaled up to be about 6 to 6.5 full turns and he stated their policy was a minimum of 7. I finally convinced him (after a friendly call with Dustin) but he was still reluctant to install them. He stated they would not be liable if my wheels fell off and I said, "No problem!"

Over three years later and almost 50,000 miles, I haven't had any issues. Great wheels!!

They used the impact on mine and then hand torqued. Went back a few days later for retorque and all good.

I need one wheel, matte black.

    Scratches are generally fine.

One of mine got pretty torn up on the rocks.

Could also check with Dustin and see if he has a blemished wheel to sell you at a discount.

All 6 of mine have been blemished! I'll go that route if I have to, but hopefully used is cheaper.

Not sure how easy it will be to find a single used one but you may. Good luck.

Yeah, usually folks have 4 or 5, and want to sell them as a set. I'm hoping someone scratches one or gets rock rash and wants to replace it.

It's a long shot, but I'm not in a rush.

I got bored of the other caps and decided to change them up. I think they look great. More pictures to come soon.

Can anyone that got locking lugs for these wheels tell me which ones they got? Sent Dustin a text a week ago but haven't heard from him. Was hoping to have a few choices to pick from. Thanks

Maybe. 4 of the 5 have some rock rash(I dont remember how bad the rash is on them, been boxed up for a year but can grab pics) and you'd have to pick up or arrange a TW express, PM me.

Just got them installed today!!
    Specs:
    2019 off road
2” ready lift level on front, 1” on rear
Fx pro in matte black, I purchased the blemished wheels for 99 per wheel, had to also buy the lug nuts, and got installed at a local Les Schwab shop, I avoided the Discount Tire shops due to the 7 turn requirement.
Tires are 265/70/17 falken wildpeak AT, purchased from Amazon.
I’ve also ordered the trd vinyl labels for the center caps, which haven’t arrived yet.
All in cost was roughly 1050 for wheels and tires, and additional $280 for install and alignment.
Here are some before and after.

It was a lot harder to place the TRD stickers on the center caps than I thought. The red outside circle piece came off, but kinda like just the TRD red in the middle.

I heard those were difficult to put on. I opted for the polished center caps to give mine some color contrast. The red TRD looks good.

After shopping around another and creeping these forums :spy: I finally decided I really like these FN FX Pro wheels and heard nothing but good things about Dustin so why not try for myself. All I can say is wow. His customer service is absolutely unparalleled and he takes his time making sure you understand everything in detail and are getting what you pay for. I could not be happier with my decision and want to thank all of you for helping me pull the trigger. If your considering new wheels I recommend Dustin and FN Wheels not only for his expertise but also for his passion and care for his customers,it feels more like chatting with a great friend than someone just trying to sell you on something which is a breath of fresh air. His description of these wheels was exactly what I got and the fit and finish is perfect for what I was going for. He walked me through the different color options and I had told him I'm pretty set on the black and orange scheme. He was completely fine hearing that and asked me to keep in touch to make sure I received them in great shape and no issues. When they came in I opened the box and was blown away by how good everything looked and felt in person. Lighter than stock wheels and look a hell of a lot better. I called him and explained how happy I was that I found this post and decided to call and he was very happy to hear that. Mutual happiness between the consumer and company and that's pretty rare these days. You won't find many companies willing to give you as much time and effort as Dustin at FN wheels. Also For anybody wondering i did install these wheels with BFG 285-70R17 on stock shocks to start and only had rubbing on my mudflaps while turned which could be fixed with a heat gun and a little pressing with your hand or removing them. They weren't even close to the cab mount on my truck. They looked great at stock hight but I had planned on lifting since I bought the truck so I am currently in the process of finishing my lift and then will post some final product pics. Sorry for the long first post but can't say enough for how great it was working with Dustin as all of you have said. Very pleased and thankful for all of you and him :cheers::yay:20200316_211620.jpg 20200315_180031.jpg 20200315_175920.jpg
