I just purchased a 2019 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 Off Road, 6 ft bed. The dealership had already installed Bilstein 5100's on the front. I want new wheels, and bigger tires, I was thinking of 285/70/17's. I have stopped by two different Off Road shops in town, and done a ton of reading. I am now more confused than ever. The shops made me feel like they were trying desperately to "sell" me on something that I don't really need.
I wanna know what is the biggest tire size that I can put on with the 5100's, or what my options are. Can i use spacers with the Bilsteins? Should I just scrap them and do a whole new lift? I do a very moderate amount of off roading. I am not looking to build a monster truck, and I am also not wanting to do anything requiring cutting my new truck up.
