    Hey gang,

I got the following notice in the mail yesterday and I'm not sure what it means, can anyone help?
(Sorry for the sideways photos, I couldn't figure out how to rotate them)

    It means:

You need to schedule an appointment to have your frame checked before it turns to rust and blows away.

just got it yesterday as well, there's a big thread here on it.

I'm doing just as it says - tossing it in my owners manual and doing nothing at this time
as I have no issue that would warrant a trip to the dealer.

If you read exactly what it says, it's exactly what it means. If you live in one of the states affected by high use of road salts the you have an extended warranty on the frame.

Its nice to know toyota is still extending warranty on frames to keep customers happy.

I’d rather hang out with a Kyle over a Brent any day. Some of the greatest men are named Kyle. Kyle Reese is the grandfather of resistance. Honestly though all the other famous kyles are hockey players look it up lol

Only need to schedule appointment if you already have rust or other corrosion, the campaign hasn't actually started. A notice will be sent when it actually does.

I have 2015 DCOR that I bought a few months ago. I haven’t received a letter yet and it doesn’t show up when I put the Vin in their system. Should I call Toyota customer service?

I got a letter on Saturday, February 22. I called and set up an appointment for this morning.

They looked at my truck this morning and determined that the frame did not have any perforations, thus qualifying for the application of Corrosion Resistant Compound (CRC). They promised me a call from Toyota within the next two weeks in order to schedule the CRC application. Toyota of Naperville (Illinois) was prompt and courteous, and I'm glad that Toyota is taking potential frame corrosion seriously.

If they were taking it seriously they'd correct their process that leads to all these frame rust recalls.
