I put in aftermarket halo headlights and ran them off of my running lights, swapped I'm bigger tires went up to a p225/R75.
I just got a 2008 Toyota tacoma without JBL sound it's the v6 4.0 Prerunner sr5 4x2, I go to school for Toyota and my original stereo didn't have a aux hookup so I swapped the stereo with a 2010 tacoma stereo with aux hookup, I only had to wire up the steering wheel controls everything else plugged up, when the volume is at 45 with bass and treble 0 the speakers cut out replaced the speakers with kicker d series but it still cuts out I know the tweeters are going out but that shouldn't cause the speakers to cut out should it? Anything would help.

If a speaker (or tweeter) shorts out internally or externally it will affect the stereo output in one way or another. I'd try disconnecting the tweeters and see if it still cuts out. IF I were to bet I'd bet it's an internal problem with the stereo itself.

I unpluged the tweeters a couple days ago but it kills power to the speakers, I picked up some tweeters today in class from the same 2010 Tacoma and im going to try them later today thank-you for the help.
