If they don't find it by the time the new seal comes in they're buying me a new one.

I'm not going to let them mess with the clutch. I'm going to have them reroute the hydraulic line away from the cat.

Which brings me to my next issue. When I first picked the truck up the clutch pedal was really easy to push in and cane out about the same. Pressure required has steadily been increasing over the past few days. Dis/engagement point is the same as far as I can tell but the "pedal feel" is changing. I'm wondering if it's the fluid breaking down/cooking in the line because it's resting on the whole freaking catalytic converter

Ok so cold, the clutch pedal is super soft. After 30 minutes if driving, clutch pedal is stiff as before.

Cooked hydraulic fluid confirmed in my eyes.

That’s an easy fix, just bleed the line and reroute the hose away from the cat

I'm just waiting for the new seal to come in so I only have to move and bleed it once.

I've put five hundred miles on mine so far. Silky smooth and zero noise. Couldn't be happier.

I thought somebody told me years ago the chirping issue was only on the 05-08 years. Wow, I am disappointed. I have been looking at 12-15 models. My son had a 2006, 6 speed and had the problem. Other then the gear ratio between 1st & 2nd...I really liked it. Ok, thanks!

It’s a roll of dice from what I understand. Some will experience it some never will.

I have a 2015 with 100,000km and no issues, have the fix sitting on the self incase. Really do think it’s a random problem not all will have.

    My shit is all stock.
I pulled the trans out today.

Here’s the mess inside the bell housing from the leaking Clutchmasters hydro bearing.

Replacement oring is a round oring vs. the square seal that it was originally built with.

The outer dust/wipe seal is just that. No fluid sealing happening at that point.

Machine shop still has my flywheel. Hope to have it back tomorrow morning.

I also had a shorter pressure line made. No pics yet.

No, it was definitely square on purpose.

Yes, I did call Kevin when I got it all apart. He assured me that the two styles are interchangeable.

Looking at the old one; There’s no obvious problem with it. Wasn’t twisted or pinched.
It went right back together with the new, round o-ring no problem.
