This isn't exactly Tacoma related, but can anyone recommend me a good shop in San Diego that does fuel injector cleaning/rebuilding/flow testing? It's for my 1994 Camry that is my daily beater car. (Love my Tacoma, but it's a 6 cylinder that gets the gas mileage of an 8 cylinder.)

In the case of my 02 Celica with 2ZZ engine with 160K miles on it, I did the cheap things first, seafoam, throttle body cleaner a little improvement. On line I found an exchange program for my injectors, replaced my PVC, replaced my Idle Air Control, new Iridium Plugs. Starts and runs as when new, grate throttle response, I had forgotten how much fun this little car is to drive.

Are you going to pull the injectors and do it the right way?
If so, the best place around is RC Fuel Iinjection in Torrance. One day turn around and they basically rebuild the injectors, test each individually, identify the weak one(s) and give you a full flow sheet printout when done. If all 4 injectors are in good shape, they can be serviced, if not, they stop right there and call you letting you know that one is way below spec and should be replaced.

Yes you would have to pull them and send them in, but it is cheaper than new injectors for sure.
