Hey guys I am new to the site, and I am about to paint my first gen flat or gloss black. I know that flat may have some issues with staying clean and I hear you can buy Dr Beasleys coating for matt finishes. Anybody have any thoughts or opinions? Pics of flat or gloss black? I tried google but the images are minimal.

Have you ever owned a black car or truck, @NewfieMuddin? It takes a special kind of fan to appreciate a color that always looks dirty. (smile)

I’ve had two over the years. I miss my Saab Turbos, but not that color!

Yessir most of my vehicles have been black! I only wash them when I first get them lol. Where I am from it’s impossible to keep them clean for longer then a hour, I just give up and leave them dirty! Lol
