When exactly does someone become an A-Hole?

    Working on it ...
Just curious. Are people born a-holes or do they become flaming a-holes over time? Are they generally from families of a-holes or is it a degenerate thing that makes an individual into an a-hole?
Just wondering, as I park out in the boondocks wherever I go. Home Depot, Lowes, ShopRite, work etc. So somebody literally had to go out of their way to be a flaming major league a-hole and do this work of art on my truck:

    CE407B1C-E81E-4543-A63C-8DF38D902A5C.jpg

Keyed on the passenger front door at ~2000 miles on the truck. Maybe less. I have 4000 miles on the truck now and every time I see it it just ticks me off a little bit more.

Thanks for the soapbox and letting me rant a bit ...

    You have something nice.
According to most people now you can't have something nicer than they have.
Not unusual for me to see this.

I can be an A hole but typically just when I open my mouth. I have never lost respect for other people’s property though. That would have upset me if I did it, of course it would have been accidental but I’d have waited and made sure it got fixed.

I once saw a guy fling his front door into the side of my truck and before I could sprint out of the store to wring his neck, he opened his rear door into my truck. I went off on the guy and he said "I didn't hit your car". Did the right thing by calling the police instead of killing him, the guy drove off before the police showed up. I got his number and officer dopey showed up and said "what do you want me to do?" Finally convinced him with the help of two witnesses to do his damn job and tracked the guy down who of course denied it, but couldn't explain the blue paint on his doors and finally admitted it. Cop called with his insurance info.

It wasn't done there. After I filed a claim got a letter from the insurance company saying that they weren't paying because their insured said it didn't happen. Another call to the police who called the guy back who conveniently then called his insurance company to admit guilt. Yes people are A-holes.

    fun fact:

Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the anus forms before any other opening.

Which basically means at one point you were nothing but an asshole.

some people never develop beyond this stage.

if you can trace it back to a certain place or parking there are security cameras usually in every lot these days, maybe you can get the A hole that did it, would be worth the effort just to nail them.

Sorry about your truck. That would piss me off too... However, the question posed isn’t as simple as it may seem. There are many different types of assholes. I, for one, consider myself to be an asshole. This was not an inherited trait. It was a choice that i made long ago as younger man as a defense mechanism for tolerating the ignorance of others. Before, i would slap the shit out of someone for saying or doing stupid shit. Now i am much more calm, & simply state in the most asshole way possible how dumb they are for saying or doing said dumb shit. For me personally, being an asshole is extremely therapeutic. I will often laugh at my own asshole comments immediately after making them, which can increase my level of assholishness to anyone of witness. I take great pleasure in this as it is effectively rewarding for me. I’m even an asshole to myself if i happen to be the individual who may have said or done some dumb ass shit... That being said, I would never intentionally scratch someones vehicle for any reason. Anyone who would do that is a fucking asshole.

Well, I've been told that I was born one but I'm pretty nice as far as A-holes go. Sack of shit a-holes (such as the one that keyed the above truck) give us regular a-holes a bad rep.
