Cincinnati Area Thread (Tri-State, Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana)

Eyyyy no problem. Thanks for the welcome! I'm in Reading, currently. Pretty much been in those central suburbs between 71/75/275/Lateral my whole life. Aside from an awful 8-9 year college/dropout stint up in NW Ohio haha

 

I, for one, am really wanting to get to some spring temperatures, light wheeling, and camping. About when is it ~50 at night?

 

For a few days in May before it's 80°+ for 4 months straight.

 

Thanks everyone for replying thus far. I asked a moderator if they could tell me how many watchers there are for this thread and was told 201. Obviously, I bet at least half of that don’t visit TW anymore and inactive users are likely not purged.

Regardless, Matt @mwc273 started this thread and I thought did a great job keeping it active. When whatever happened, I got placed as owner and was made aware afterwards by Bob.

If there is anyone “watching” and unhappy with that, I’ll gladly request of Bob to change the Owner to someone else.

I’m not from here, moved here from GA in 2015 and am still learning the area. I still haven’t found an unpaved “Dirt” public road locally and I have been looking. So I am not a source of local or regional wheeling knowledge.

Finally, I’ve been trying to read the Ohio threads. I think THIS thread has been one of the most entertaining and active. I gave up reading the Kentucky threads...they must not teach the same English south of the Ohio River .
I appreciate your responses, hope our paths cross in person and maybe we can meet and explore in awe each other’s truck.

My wife and a daughter are out of town April 18-19 if anyone wants to meet.

I think for this thread to pick up or move forward, we are going to have to meet in person with specific direction towards shenanigans.

 

I agree, even if it’s not an “off road” meet, I think we need to meet up somewhere sometime. Like I said, I’m free the 18th of April.

 

It would be nice if you Cincy guys could come a little north. I don't mind meeting in the middle somewhere, but it's 4 hours to Cincy for me. That's just a little much.

Like, Springfield or C-bus. There are a bunch of guys in the C-bus area who would be up for a meet.

Same. And I’d be fine driving north a bit. Wouldn’t exactly want to go all the way to Columbus as I personally hate that city (and all cities for that matter) but whatever works.
