    More or less. It's essentially the equivalent of a sawed off shotgun. And they are all almost universally garbage guns, but they go bang when you need them.

    lotta laws of varying complexity regarding NFA items to follow depending on who owned it and when.

    ...but you can make a lot of things in your garage. The Sten and the Owens SMG in WW2 are prime examples. Its actually easier to make an auto gun than it is a semi-auto. But I'm not condoning that. Great way to get got real quick by the feds.
