    L= Lift
    (ife) = extra nonsense
    Cl = Coefficient of lift (AKA angle of attack)
    .5r = 1/2r = 1/2 rho = 1/2 air density
    S = surface area
    V^2 = velocity squared

    It's the lift equation: lift equals the angle of attack of an airfoil, multiplied by the density of the air, multiplied by the surface area of the airfoil (wing/rotor), multiplied by the speed of the airfoil squared.

    The (ife) is optional added nonsense saying that lift is life. You need both to fly and you can't have one without the other.
