MESO Total Tail Light Kit

It occurs on some trucks when in reverse and turn signal is on left or right.

I picked up some of the resisters to stop the hyper flash when in reverse with a blinker on. The resisters are about 10 times bigger than I anticipated. Where is everyone sticking this unit?

 

Hyperflash is gone!

 

I mounted it just inside of the slot where the tail light housing plugs into. On the side towards the bed which is metal. That probably not a great description, so here's a video that demonstrates the placement.

I did put it a bit higher than the guy in this video does.

 

Installed mine today, ran the hazards for 2-3 minutes no hyper flash. Just for reference I have a 2020 trd off road w/LED headlights

 

I’ve got hyper flash when reverse, brake, and blinker. Like a mobile rave unit.

So I got something a little different going on..been running same turn signal bulbs for over a year now the 7440 JDM ASTAR PX. I haven't had any hyperflash issues until recently...now I get to work get through my 8 hour day and when I leave I have hyper flashing for first 5-10 minutes. It's only the left blinker. Anyone seen this intermittent type of hyper flashing? Bad bulb maybe? Would outside temps cause this? It doesn't happen when I'm going to work which makes it even weirder...

 

I had intermittent hyper-flash on the left side only. Installed the load resistor, no more issues.

 

My hyperflash in reverse went away.... And I haven't added a resistor or changed anything electrical with the truck

 

Yep was trying to avoid resistors no specific reason..felt like I lucked out that I made it a year without but will probably go that route or back to halogen bulbs.

 

I actually decided to keep the hyper flash since it’ll really never come into play, unless I actually want it to for if I ever need my hazards on the side of the road. So I tested hazards and then reverse. And it didn’t hyper flash.

 

Just get the @MESO ultimate turn signals and you’ll rid of this phenomenon...at least that’s what works for me...

Pretty sure hes talking about the ultimate turn signals for the mirrors. They've been known to eliminate the need for resistors for many people.

 

Ahhh welp already got those when they first came out. I was thinking maybe a signal bulb with built in resistors....I know one company has them was hoping MESO would come out with something similar/better.
